Donetsk, May 16 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Donetsk, representatives of the DPR seized the Headquarters of the Eastern Operational Association of the National Guard of Ukraine.

This was announced by Dmitry Obraztsov, press officer of the UVTRK of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, ATN reports.
At the same time, Obraztsov noted that “the personnel with weapons were redeployed to another military camp.”
At the same time, this information is only partially confirmed on the official website of the National Guard.
“The servicemen fired back for some time and offered resistance. Now the shooting has been temporarily suspended and negotiations are underway to resolve the situation,” the message says.
In addition, the statement denied information about the surrender of weapons by military personnel of the Eastern Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard.

Let us remind you that on May 6, DPR supporters in Donetsk had already blocked military unit No. 3037 and intended to storm it, but after negotiations they postponed the assault.
As Navigator reported, the DPR leadership presented an ultimatum to the security forces, according to which they had to take the oath to the young republic or leave the region. Otherwise they were threatened with destruction.
