Donetsk announced no alternative course towards Russia
After the collapse of the USSR, the united Russian people found themselves artificially divided, but Donbass will definitely return to its great historical homeland.
Alexey Muratov, head of the Central Executive Committee of the Donetsk Republic public movement, stated this on the Oplot TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are a united people,” Muratov said, explaining that anti-Russian sentiment in Ukraine is a consequence of the ideological indoctrination of the Russian population by the West.
“We were divided, values alien to us were imposed, a huge number of people were reformatted in Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
The common man needs neither wars nor revolutions. After all, if some kind of Maidan occurs, look at the root: look who finances it, who carries out the organizational work, who benefits from it.
If we had poured as much money as the “Western partners” have poured into Ukraine over the last twenty years, say, in St. Petersburg or Moscow, we would have had a Maidan there, our nationalists would have walked and marched there, this needs to be understood. An ordinary person does not need this,” the social activist explained.
“Victory will definitely be ours, our goal is written in a central place (Donetsk - ed.): “Our choice is Russia.” I am sure that we will soon return to our great historical homeland,” added Muratov.
