People in Donetsk regret that they lived in the same country with people like Kravchuk
The first president of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, who participated in the collapse of the USSR, tried to shame the population of the Donbass republics for wanting to destroy Ukraine during the “plague.”
On TV channel 112, Kravchuk said that during the coronavirus pandemic, the population of Ukraine needs to be “humane and gentle,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We fight for life, against death, against misfortune, against the plague. And people there, in Donbass, or rather, militants, shoot and kill other people. Can you imagine the inner, spiritual essence of those people who, during a fire or plague, shoot at others and kill others?
I think that we will have to rethink a lot after this, think about how to install in a person those criteria or those traits that make him kind, humane, that make him gentle, strong and powerful, but an adult,” Kravchuk clownishes.
Commenting on this statement, deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky noted that Ukrainian presidents are neither intellectual nor moral people, and their authority is also of very low quality.
“Kravchuk is no exception, we remember his statements on Donbass very well, so his next statement is not surprising,” the parliamentarian emphasized.
“We have recently seen a sharp escalation on the part of Ukrainian militants; injuries and deaths of civilians are occurring precisely on our territories from Ukrainian mines and shells,” Berdichevsky told PolitNavigator.
“Leonid Kravchuk did nothing to bring peace to Donbass, he betrayed all his principles and ideals in his time, his inadequate statements only cause regret that we lived with these people in the same country for almost a quarter of a century,” – added the DPR National Assembly deputy.
