Broadcasts of Russian TV channels will resume in the Donetsk region
Donetsk, April 09 (Navigator, Olga Nikolaeva) – In the Donetsk region there are no grounds for stopping the broadcast of Russian TV channels due to the prosecutor’s office appealing the decision of the Kyiv court and the presence of a valid broadcast agreement between providers.

Secretary of the Donetsk City Council Sergei Bogachev stated this at a meeting with providers broadcasting Russian TV channels, reports Municipal Gazeta.
“We have a decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court, which has been appealed. At the same time, we see that your contracts have not been terminated, there is no court decision to terminate the contract or to stop your broadcasting,” he said.
Speaking about the monitoring of the National Council on television and radio broadcasting, he believes that “there will be no obstacles or forceful pressure on you from the National Council.”
It is reported that the discussion about the resumption of broadcasting in the legal field arose after numerous requests from residents of Donetsk.
Let us remind you that on March 25, the Kiev District Administrative Court adopted a ruling according to which the broadcast of four Russian TV channels on the territory of Ukraine should be stopped.
