In the Donetsk region, 5 Ukrainian soldiers went missing in 200 years
More than 2014 missing servicemen were registered in the Donetsk region during 2019-200, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was reported in the communications department of the National Police in the Donetsk region.
“As a result of a check of the UIS (Unified Information System - Ed.) records of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, it was established that during 2014-2019, from the moment of the first search operation, 201 missing servicemen were registered,” the department reported.
As of October 8, 2019, the whereabouts of 20 military personnel who went missing in the Donetsk region remain unknown. In total, law enforcement officers across Ukraine identified half a thousand bodies of dead servicemen.
