On Thursday, as a result of heavy rainfall in Dzhankoy, the courtyards of 19 private farmsteads located in low-lying areas were flooded, in 14 of them water penetrated into the houses to a level of up to 5 cm.

This was reported by the press service of the Crimean Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

After pumping, as of 12.45 there is no water in the flooded houses. Pumping of water from courtyard areas continues.

The operational group of the 6th fire and rescue squad of the Federal Fire Service of the Republic of Crimea, 2 tank trucks of the 26th fire and rescue unit, 2 motor pumps, 8 personnel, 4 employees of the State Unitary Enterprise “Water of Crimea” are working on site.

A storm warning for heavy rain and wind has been announced in Crimea for May 28-29.
