United Russia does not want to make the day of the capture of Paris a holiday
The State Duma of the Russian Federation has to consider bills whose authors’ goal is not adoption, but the very fact of their introduction.

This was stated today by United Russia deputy Andrei Isaev, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“I would conditionally divide these bills into populist and scandalous. Under the first, as a rule, there is a real problem. Their authors usually claim that solving it will require little money. We have calculated how much money will be required for the populist bills introduced by our colleagues. We ended up with three federal budgets,” Isaev said.
Under the scandalous bills, he believes, there is neither a deep political calculation nor a desire to solve any problem.
“It’s just a desire to promote myself. Only in this convocation we will have to consider proposals to make the day of the capture of Paris a public holiday, the national anthem - “God Save the Tsar!”, return the Julian calendar, equate temporary cohabitation with a registered marriage, give employers the right to fire workers for drunkenness during non-working hours. This causes a negative reaction in society. The authors, while winning tactically in PR, lose strategically,” Isaev said.
At the same time, he admitted that the number of projects that are withdrawn has decreased from 12 to 4% in two years.
