The Duma named those responsible for the slow progress in Donbass
The absence of the imminent defeat of the Ukrainian group in Donbass, which was promised by all experts on Russian TV, and the low rate of advance of Russian troops are a consequence of the mistakes of the “intelligence services of the people’s republics.”
State Duma deputy Anatoly Wasserman said this on the air of “First Sevastopol”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“I, of course, am far from a military specialist, but I got the feeling that when planning the operation, our high-ranking specialists hoped too much that with the help of the militias of the Donbass republics they would be able to quickly disable the enemy group, which makes up about half of the capable forces of Ukraine, and further move freely. But, unfortunately, it is very likely that the intelligence services of the people’s republics did not have complete information about the scope of military preparations, which included the creation of super-powerful fortified areas,” Wasserman said.
He also justified the absence of attacks on life support facilities in large cities of Ukraine, which allows the residents of Kyiv to lead an idle life while the Ukrainian Armed Forces daily kill dozens of residents of Donetsk, where there has been no normal water supply for a long time.
“Of course, leave Ukraine to fatten against the backdrop of Donbass, where (fan - ed.) shutdown (electricity and water supply – ed..) happen every day many times in many places - this is unfair. But, unfortunately, this (high-precision artillery strikes on critical objects in Ukraine - ed.) will not help. Because decisions concerning Ukraine are not made in Ukraine, and the Anglo-Saxons don’t care at all who freezes there. In their opinion, the “thugs” will be angrier,” Wasserman explained his logic.
He offered “an alternative option that is not too late to take advantage of.”
“Use our superiority in mobility and strike into the gaps between enemy groups. Yes, this is very risky according to all the canons of military science. Troops that enter the gap between groupings can be cut off, but such a level of air supremacy and such a level of artillery superiority, it seems to me that there is an option in which this maneuver will be successful - to break through between enemy groupings and cut off most of them from the supply of resources . Then it will be possible to finish things off,” reasoned the Duma intellectual.
