About it reported the portal rus.postimees.ee.

“In recent years, the number of subscribers and readers of all Russian-language newspapers published in Estonia has been declining. At the same time, Russian-language online publications are showing a steady increase in the number of readers,” said Peep Kala, Chairman of the Board of AS Postimees Grupp.

He also said that the trend of readers and advertisers moving to the Internet is extremely rapid in the Russian-language media in Estonia. According to Kahl, this is why it was decided to stop investing in newspapers.

“Day by Day” will be released for the last time on October 1, “Postimees in Russian” - on September 29.
