“In order to quickly master new aviation technology, six Black Sea crews underwent retraining for new types of aircraft at the Yeisk Naval Aviation Training Center. This is already the second group of pilots who have retrained for Su-30 aircraft. Previously, several more Black Sea Fleet crews received skills in piloting new aircraft at the Lipetsk training center of the Russian Air Force,” the statement says.
As PolitNavigator reported, Su-30SM naval aviation fighters of the Black Sea Fleet will take part in the display of aviation equipment in Sevastopol on May 9 as part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
