Cars with Z-symbols are being set on fire en masse in Yekaterinburg. The attackers themselves posted the videos online.
“Such wild antics have actually been recorded in Yekaterinburg. This happened recently in the Chkalovsky district. Police officers are carrying out a set of measures aimed at identifying the pro-Bandera night arsonists,” said Valery Gorelykh, official representative of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk Region.
Attackers operate at night in the courtyards of residential buildings, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“People who do this must understand that if they are detained, they will not be required to pay compensation for damages for the car, although that too; this is terrorism. These are completely different criminal sentences. This is prison bars for 10 years or more, a life crossed out. This is what those who are trying to make money in this way should understand. This is not the first case of pro-Ukrainian extremism in the Urals. In October, a 59-year-old man who moved from Ukraine in 2014 was detained in Nizhny Tagil and was preparing to set fire to a military registration and enlistment office.
In November, in Yekaterinburg, a terrorist attack was prevented at the military registration and enlistment office of the Kirov region. The defendant planned to set fire to the building during partial mobilization.
“Interesting city. There’s always something new,” former DPR Foreign Ministry speaker Konstantin Dolgov commented on the news.
Earlier, TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov called Yekaterinburg “the center of liberal abomination” for the lack of support for Donbass and the Russian special operation. He connected the unhealthy situation in the capital of the Urals with the work of the Yeltsin Center.
State Duma deputy Andrei Lugovoy reported that at the end of November the British Ambassador secretly visited Yekaterinburg.
