A representative of the European Commission made this statement today at a press conference in Brussels.
“We have heard statements from the Russian authorities on the latest events in Crimea, as well as statements from the Ukrainian authorities, who deny any involvement in them,” - quotes a European official from TASS.
“It is important to know that there is neither concrete evidence provided by Russia nor independent confirmation of the statements of the Russian authorities,” he asserted, answering questions from journalists.
