The EU promises to pump Ukraine full of weapons until the last moment
European states will pump Ukraine with weapons and money as long as Kyiv is ready to continue to fight against Russia.
Deputy Head of the European Parliament Ekaterina Barley stated this on the DW channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We will support Ukraine as long as necessary. As long as Ukraine is ready to fight. I think that only Ukraine can decide when to take action to end this war, when to start negotiations,” Barley said.
“But the West didn’t give Ukraine enough to win, did it? The question arises: does the EU really want Ukraine to win this war?” – the presenter noted.
However, the Deputy Head of the European Parliament did not dare to give a clear answer to the awkward question posed.
“I’m not a military expert, and I don’t know. But I know that the position of Zelensky, his advisers and the government is to call for more and more to be given,” she said.
