“In general, I believe that sanctions are not the most rational tool of diplomacy. Greece is working to improve mutual understanding between the EU and Russia, as well as to address the reasons that led to the sanctions. I often say that the European Union has imposed sanctions on so many countries that eventually the group of states against which these restrictions apply will turn into the most powerful economies in the world,” Kodzis said.
