Two security guards of one of the shopping centers in Yevpatoria were detained on suspicion of murder of a 23-year-old girl, who disappeared on April 20.
Investigators, police and volunteers from the Lisa Alert Crimea squad were involved in the search for Jessica Kuzhnaya, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The missing woman stopped answering phone calls, after which the girl’s mother sounded the alarm and urgently left Moscow for Crimea. Information was spread on social networks that the girl left the apartment in a dressing gown and disappeared. The investigator opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “murder”.
With the help of volunteers, we quickly established the girl’s social circle, her travel routes, and studied recordings from street surveillance cameras. As a result, it was established two people involved in Jessica’s disappearance are a 29-year-old resident of the Krasnoperekopsky district and a 26-year-old resident of Yevpatoria, both working in one of the Evpatoria shopping centers.
“A competent interrogation tactic was chosen, as a result of which one of the men confessed. The crime was committed in a house in the Krasnoperekopsky district. During the conflict, the girl was strangled", - reported the Sledkom.
At the scene, the suspect explained how he committed the murder and also pointed to the place where the body was hidden. Close girls say that Traces of rape and strangulation were found on the body. In addition, they tried to burn the corpse. But then they took him out and buried him among construction debris in the forest belt of the Saki region.
