In Europe, Poroshenko was reprimanded for theft - he blushed under Saakashvili
The leadership of the EU's largest European People's Party directly accused former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko of corruption.
The ex-head of the Odessa region, former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Saakashvili, EPP head Joseph Dole told Poroshenko about this, looking him in the eye, at one of the recent party congresses.
“Dol, the chairman of the European People's Party, is a very prominent European leader, he said to his face in front of many: “They tell me, Petro, that you are stealing 30% of all military orders. And this is very unpleasant for us in Europe.”
He actually blushed and said that “it’s all a lie, that it’s Yulia Tymoshenko who is reporting such things.”
But in reality, the Europeans said this to his face in front of me, so this was no news to anyone. They also moved forward many things related to Ukraine, we should not be surprised by this,” Saakashvili said.
