The head of the Ukrainian political consulting group Dmitry Razumkov said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we continue to have the political expediency of individuals and the power of the crowd defeat the rule of law and common sense, then we will not reach the EU through these paths. I talked with our foreign colleagues and asked the question: how long would it take for order to be restored in Paris or Berlin, in a European state where human rights are above all else, if such events took place there? Answer: within an hour or two, legality would have been established and normalcy in the center of the capital would have been established,” said the political scientist.
According to him, on the one hand, there is extremely ineffective work of the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.
“I don’t understand why this is being done. One gets the impression that the further they go, the more they are trying to discredit the law enforcement agencies and show their ineffectiveness. On the other hand, we thus provide an additional rating to individual political personalities who could not find themselves in their state and are trying to carry out reforms here,” Razumkov concluded.
