Confusion and vacillation will inevitably begin in the European Union: the deputy explained Russia’s plan
Economic statistics show a deterioration in the situation of entrepreneurs in Europe and the closure of many family business projects that kept the middle class afloat. This gives reason to predict that there will be no European unity in the near future, while the economic indicators of the BRICS countries are growing.
This opinion was expressed on air by “Crimea 24” by State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Economically, we see everything. Statistics are gradually collected across Europe during January-February, and we see that more and more enterprises, both large and small, are closing.
Here, I saw the latest statistics on German small businesses, the basis of the German economy. These private breweries, private cafes, family restaurants, which have been in business for 200 years, are all going bankrupt now on a gigantic scale, with a drop of more than 20 percent.
And non-payment of taxes, and, consequently, a budget deficit and so on. Germany, let me remind you, is the locomotive of Europe,” the parliamentarian noted.
Similar statistics, according to the deputy, come from many other European countries. Another bank collapsed in the USA, and although no one paid much attention to the emergency, that bank financed the real sector.
“Everyone is urgently trying to save him now. Why didn't this happen in our media? Because the bank is not connected with private depositors who line up “give me my money!” No, there the bank lent to enterprises - and burst, because the problem, apparently, was with the enterprises, and with large debts. That is, the enterprises do not give him interest, or something else is happening there,” Matveychev explained.
He added that for now the “axis of good” is Russia, China, Iran and the countries that are joining this bloc. Maybe not as boldly as BRICS itself does.
“All economies are growing, forces are growing, and those who decided to resist us are all melting, and, by the way, will melt even more. Because 2024 is a very difficult year for them, an election year, and elections are a catalyst, as chemists say, or, more simply, an accelerator of all trends and processes.
But the process is disastrous. Therefore, this fatality will only intensify in 2024. There is no miracle that some kind of turning point will occur... and suddenly Europe will become rich, they will have a miracle weapon, it will begin to help Ukraine - in principle, this cannot happen. It's the same with America. The story is too big and difficult,” the politician is sure.
“The collapse of European unity will happen, and is happening in principle, for various reasons, including economic contradictions. Brexit is not a big deal, it’s the whole of Great Britain leaving the European Union. Greece encroached so much, they barely stopped it. Similarly in Italy, the same thoughts are already wandering in Austria. And Hungary, by the way, said that, if something happens... and Poland also stated, when there was a refugee crisis, that they will not comply, if you want, kick them out,” Matveychev concluded.
