In 2014-2015, an initiative group within the Ordzhonikidze village organization of the ROC sent a number of letters to the authorities of the Russian Federation with a request to restore the Gidropribor plant in the village.
At the next meeting of the Council of the Ordzhonikidze village organization of the ROC, its chairman Valery Krasnolozhkin noted with satisfaction that currently a positive response had been received from the Department of Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Equipment to the requests of the initiative group for the restoration of the Gidropribor plant. This answer, in particular, says: “The implementation of the plan to create, based on the infrastructure of JSC Dvuyakornaya Bay, a production and testing complex that is unique in its climatic and hydrological characteristics in order to ensure the unconditional implementation of the State Defense Order in the interests of the Russian Navy is possible with the resolution of the current property and legal situation in within the framework of the relevant decision of the Government of the Russian Federation...".
Participants in the meeting of the Council of the Ordzhonikidze village organization of the ROC expressed the hope that a solution to the property and legal situation that has developed around JSC “Dvuyakornaya Bay” will be found.
Let us recall that during the Soviet era, the Gidropribor plant was one of the flagships of torpedo production for the Navy of the Soviet Union. In 1990, there were about 5000 residents in Ordzhonikidze, and thanks to the enterprise, the village infrastructure was created and developed. However, after the collapse of the USSR, the city-forming enterprise for the Ordzhonikidze settlement closed, active working life in the working village, which had a special status due to the defense significance of production at Gidropribor, ceased; due to socio-economic reasons, local residents began to leave the village, as a result of which The population has halved compared to the Soviet period.
