The acting head of the LPR People's Militia department, Colonel Mikhail Filiponenko, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to our intelligence, currently in the area of responsibility of the Lugansk operational-tactical group, more than 100 military personnel are being treated in medical institutions, of which 60 are with the flu,” he said.
“As a result of untimely medical care, 10 people died,” Filiponenko added.
According to the colonel, in the 80th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine alone, since the beginning of February, more than twenty military personnel have been diagnosed with an “open form of tuberculosis.”
“Due to the large number of sick military personnel, in addition to military medical institutions, treatment of soldiers is also carried out in civilian hospitals. The situation is complicated by the lack of necessary medicines in medical institutions,” noted the representative of the LPR NM.
