Finland refuted Ukraine's lies about the Russian world
Ukrainian propaganda lies, trying to intimidate the population with the supposedly threatening concept of the Russian World.
This was stated by a participant from Finland, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Helsinki, Johan Beckman, during the anti-globalization forum initiated by the DPR.
According to him, the concept of the Russian World is opposed to American imperialism and Nazism - all those phenomena that were given the green light to Ukraine after the 2014 coup.
“If we talk about what the previous speakers said on the topic of imperialism and racism, then it should be noted that there is a certain political system “Russian World”, which, in fact, struggles with these problems.
This is a political system that is used in Russia and other post-Soviet states, especially in Donbass and South Ossetia. This is something close to socialism. But not really. Russian people have united here, but there are no problems with racism in Russia. It’s a certain kind of economic model,” Beckman said.
He believes that the neutrality strategy followed by Finland has been proven correct in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.
“If we talk about my country, about Finland. This is a neutral country. We treat all countries of the world equally. Especially now. When you don’t know what will happen in two weeks. Now they say that the situation in the world will return to normal only by 2024. The discussions are endless, there is no clear conclusion. Everyone is wondering what will happen to the European Union and NATO. Why are these organizations needed? At the same time, Russia provides humanitarian assistance to the whole world,” recalled the Finnish political scientist.
