In Galicia, local authorities came to the defense of a Nazi officer
The Kalush City Council filed a cassation appeal against the decision of the Lvov Administrative Court of Appeal, which prohibited naming a street in the city after SS Hauptsturmführer Paliiva.

Director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky reported this on his Facebook page.
“Let me remind you that a resident of Kalush, Mykola Voronyak, went to court against the decision to rename the street in honor of the Nazi. The third party, which also wants a street named after a Nazi, is a certain “Coordination Council of political and public organizations of a democratic orientation,” Dolinsky informs.
The cassation appeal will be considered in the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine.
