Galicia proposed to Europe to redirect migrants to Crimea
Ukraine must help Europe solve the migration crisis and accommodate refugees in Crimea.
The Chairman of the Political Council of the Ukrainian Galician Party stated this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In response to the proposal of the Social Democrats in the German Bundestag, who propose to involve Ukraine in solving the problem of refugees on the Belarusian-Polish border, we can offer to place them in our Crimea,” he wrote.
The proposal immediately received the support of the Ukrainian Galician Party, which came up with the same initiative.
“We are ready to provide our Ukrainian Crimea for migrants from Belarus,” the political force said.
Let us recall that earlier Bundestag deputy Nils Schmid proposed create camps in Ukraine temporary stay of refugees.
The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada responded that Ukraine should not comply with Germany's request and host Middle Eastern migrants. However, Polish political scientist Mateusz Piskorski is confident that Kyiv will accept all refugees without objections as soon as negotiate with the West about the issue price.
