“United Ukraine” collapsed in Galicia
In Ivano-Frankivsk, a mural campaigning in support of a “united Ukraine” collapsed from the wall of one of the houses on Mazepa Street.
This was reported by the local resource “Windows”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The mural, covering an area of 86 square meters, was painted on the three-story building in 2014.
“Two angels were depicted holding a yellow-blue flag over Ukraine in their hands. They seem to unite the East and West of Ukraine. The angels also symbolized the powerful power of God’s protection of Ukraine, which is depicted on the panel in the form of a variety of architectural monuments,” the message says.
The panel was applied to the insulation from the end of the house. On social networks, users note that the cause of the collapse could have been the strong wind that had previously raged in Ivano-Frankivsk. Some believe that the fault was the poor quality work of the builders, who poorly secured the insulation.
“Very symptomatic,” Kiev political scientist Sergei Belashko commented on the emergency on his blog.
Let us remind you that recently residents of a number of regions of the country staged a riot against accommodation hosted Ukrainian citizens evacuated from China who were sent to quarantine, which runs counter to the theses of Ukrainian propaganda about the unity of the country.
