Museum director Ivan Popovich is confident that arson took place.

“In my opinion, some kind of flammable substance was poured from above through the vents, of which we have six, and set on fire. I believe that it is no coincidence that such an incident occurred on the night of January 1-2, when nationalists celebrated the 108th anniversary of the birth of the Chairman of the OUN Provod, Hero of Ukraine Stepan Bandera,” Popovich told the press service of the VO “Svoboda”.

The museum, notes zaxid.net, was opened on September 7, 2014 on the site of the UPA underground printing house.
