About it is reported on the administrator's website.

Moskal also “instructed to scientifically substantiate the attitude (or lack thereof) to the communist past of the names of individual settlements in the region,” including the villages of Kommuna in the Markovsky district, Krasnaya Zvezda in the Melovsky district, Sverdlovka in the Svatovsky district and a number of other villages.

Scientists will investigate the origin of the names, since archival documents remained in the territory controlled by the LPR.

It is noted that the order is related to the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of laws according to which toponyms associated with the communist regime should be renamed.
