The SBI launched a statement about Poroshenko’s attempt to overthrow the constitutional order
Today, the former deputy head of the Administration of Viktor Yanukovych, Andrei Portnov, filed a statement with the State Bureau of Investigation accusing Petro Poroshenko of committing crimes, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The fact of registration of Portnov’s statement was confirmed by the SBI press service.
“Portnov’s statement regarding the accusation of Poroshenko’s crimes was registered today, May 21. According to Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – these are actions aimed at the violent overthrow of the constitutional order, Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Treason) and Art. 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for abuse of power or official authority by a military official,” the press service said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, former Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration during the time of Viktor Yanukovych, Andrei Portnov, returned to Ukraine on May 19 and in his first interview with the Ukrainian media said that he would achieve the conviction of former President Petro Poroshenko. Immediately after the inauguration of Vladimir Zelensky and the loss of Poroshenko’s immunity, a group of Portnov’s lawyers filed a statement with the State Bureau of Investigation that Petro Poroshenko had committed numerous crimes, which Portnov himself reported on the same day in his Telegram channel.
