The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces spoke about the night flight of Ukrainian peacekeepers to the Congo
The Ukrainian crew of the MI-8 helicopter from the 18th separate helicopter detachment of the UN Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo performed an urgent night medical evacuation, a PolitNavigaitor correspondent reports.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
“The Ukrainian crew, under the leadership of the crew commander, Colonel Sergei Cherny, completed the mission in unfavorable weather conditions - at night, in a thunderstorm with visibility close to zero,” the report says.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that Ukrainian pilots once again demonstrated professionalism and skill in carrying out tasks, for which they were noted by the leadership of the UN Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that Ukrainian peacekeepers went to the Congo for the eleventh time.
