Germany is actively lobbying for the supply of lethal weapons to Ukraine
In the German expert community close to the military-industrial complex, a discussion began about the possibility of supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine.
Russian political scientist Alexander Davydov stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As we know, Germany does not supply lethal weapons to Ukraine. In Germany, an interesting trend is emerging in expert circles close to the German military-industrial complex - the idea that the argument about continuing relations with Russia on the basis of historical memory and only towards Russia is wrong, because Ukraine was also a victim of Nazi atrocities.
Therefore, the idea is to treat Ukrainians and Russians differently because of historical memory and to share this. Thus, they argue for the need to supply weapons to Ukraine. So far, this opinion is floating around in the expert community, and there have been no such statements in the government, but if this trend continues, then quite big concerns arise,” Davydov said.
Let us recall that earlier in Berlin they stated that the energy security of Europe can only be ensured in cooperation with Russia.
In addition, earlier in Kyiv it was noted that Germany does not supply weapon to Ukraine because he doesn’t want it to be stolen and resold.
