Germany doesn’t understand what Ukraine wants from Russia

Ukraine is full of contradictory statements regarding the transit of Russian gas.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If only they could see how the German Chancellor and German ministers are fighting to ensure that transit gas flows remain through the territory of Ukraine. It’s just that the Ukrainian position is not always clear. She either says that she doesn’t need gas from Russia at all, or she wants to increase transits to some astronomical amounts, which make it unprofitable for Russia to pump this gas through Ukraine, if it can be pumped cheaper through Nord Stream. There’s a lot of politics and a lot of problems,” Rahr said.
