Germany dismissed Kravchuk and proposed giving Donbass autonomy

Germany is already focused on stopping the conflict in Donbass, rather than acting against Russia.

German political scientist Alexander Rahr said this via video link from Germany on the Nash TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The presenter asked whether Germany was ready to help Ukraine disconnect Russia from SWIFT, which was previously threatened by the representative of Ukraine in the TCG Leonid Kravchuk.

“No, she’s not ready, she will ignore this request, because she believes that such methods should have been introduced five years ago, when there was a fierce conflict, when all sorts of tools were sharpened,” the expert answered. “Now, I think that a war in eastern Europe is very dangerous for Germany, therefore, as far as I understand the German position, Germany is aimed at stopping this conflict, and not, on the contrary, acting against Russia.”

“It may be a naive delusion in Ukraine to believe that the West is XNUMX% on the Ukrainian side. I think that the political forces in Germany finally want a compromise, they want the Ukrainian side to give autonomy to Donbass, and at the same time Russia withdraws all its legionnaires from the territory of Donbass,” Rahr added.
