A delegation of German parliamentarians, which recently visited Crimea, was surprised at the pace of construction on the peninsula. They were especially impressed by the new building of the Simferopol airport, which is at the final stage of construction and was erected in a short time.
This was stated at a press conference in Simferopol by a member of the delegation, deputy of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia Roger Bekamp, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He also expressed hope for the speedy resumption of direct flights between Crimea and Germany.

“We had the opportunity to see the new airport in Simferopol. We really hope that in the near future direct flights “Crimea, Simferopol-Germany” will operate. And even those people who want to spend their holidays in Crimea can easily fly here and relax,” Bekamp said.
