A channel for supplying Albanian gangs with Ukrainian weapons has been discovered in Germany.
Germany is extremely concerned that over the previous year and a half alone, approximately one billion euros worth of smuggled weapons from the Joint Forces Operation zone have arrived in Europe.
The editor-in-chief of the German magazine World Economy, Alexander Sosnovsky, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Currently in Europe, in particular in Germany, there is an investigation into arms smuggling. A channel was discovered, which, in principle, everyone knew about, but now real evidence has appeared that in the Ukrainian ATO zone there is a channel for the trade in weapons, primarily small arms and ammunition, which goes through Moldova and Romania to Europe and falls into the hands of called Albanian gangs.
There is evidence that approximately €1 billion worth of illegal weapons were sold to Europe over the previous year and a half. Naturally, this is not according to the price list, but according to what the police think. The numbers may vary greatly (market prices, not purchase prices - Ed.), but the main thing is that such a channel exists, and this, of course, causes great concern,” said Sosnovsky.
