In Germany, Zelensky was suspected of “selling sex”
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in his address, dedicated to the canceled teleconference between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, showed his complete ignorance and made himself and the country laughable.
Experts came to this opinion on the air of the TV Center channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“His proposal “let’s all meet in Minsk” don’t you think that this is a plot that was not included in the film about President Goloborodko? “He may now be telling a scenario where he’s talking about a meeting in Minsk, and then Trump arrives, May doesn’t resign (such a delicious proposal!), Putin comes, the Pope comes and all the issues are resolved,” the deputy noted ironically Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations Vladimir Oleinik.
“In reality, he did not become president and, it seems, he will never be this president of Ukraine. Why: the fact is that he does not understand what the Minsk agreements are, because his statements contradict each other in content. Or, for example, recently he said: “We didn’t sign them.” Does he not understand that there is continuity of power and obligations? This is not a private shop!
He doesn’t understand what the format is, the Minsk format, what the Budapest format is, it really now operates in the format of the “95th Quarter” and KVN. And he views, for example, the meeting in Minsk, which Comrade Trump does not yet know about, as a competition for captains,” the ex-deputy added.
At the same time, the editor-in-chief of the German magazine “World Economy” Alexander Sosnovsky, also noting the comical nature of the situation, nevertheless admitted that this could be an attempt to avoid both dialogue with Russia and responsibility for its failure.
“There are two options: first, Zelensky had some very secret negotiations with Merkel, with Macron, with May, with Trump, maybe even with Chinese and Indian representatives, and he just came out and spoke. Then the Germans call it “selling intimacy,” that is, he sold something that was completely intimate, and that’s it, after that there will be no more intimacy with him.
And secondly, that a person is simply speaking who is absolutely illiterate and inexperienced in political life, and he says some things that are generally not customary to say - imagine that a German, I’m not talking about Merkel, will be told that let’s meet tomorrow, but before this was not discussed by the so-called term (in German the word term means the time of the meeting) - this is simply impossible! Therefore, Zelensky’s speech was aimed at ensuring that Russia would not accept his [proposal] and then accusing Russia of not wanting dialogue. Although in fact everything was exactly in the opposite direction,” Sosnowski said.
