At the main office of Privatbank - large-scale searches in the case of bringing to bankruptcy
Detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine are conducting searches at the main office of Privatbank, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The NABU press service reported this on its Facebook page.
“In response to media requests, we inform you that NABU detectives, under the procedural guidance of SAPO prosecutors, are carrying out investigative actions at the main office of PJSC CB PrivatBank (Dnepr),” the message says.
The NABU clarified that investigative actions are being carried out as part of a criminal investigation into possible abuse of their official position by officials of the National Bank of Ukraine, as well as embezzlement of funds of PJSC CB PrivatBank on an especially large scale, committed by the management and owners of significant participation in the said banking institution ( Part 2 of Article 364, Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), as a result of which the state suffered losses in the amount of additional capitalization of the Bank in the amount of UAH 116,8 billion.
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator has already reported, the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings against former employees of PrivatBank for bringing the bank to insolvency.
