A resident of the village of Verbovets, Ivano-Frankivsk region, beat her seven-year-old daughter to death with a hammer.
This was reported by the local resource “Galician Correspondent”, PolitNavigator reports.
The tragedy occurred on the night of March 28 - neighbors called the police to the scene.
“It is known that the woman suffers from mental disorders, she even underwent treatment in the Vinnytsia region. She lived with her daughter on her own, since her husband works for a living in the Czech Republic. The killer told the police that when she came home, she heard voices in her head that said “kill her,” the report says.
Based on this fact, the police opened a criminal case under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
