Rescuers found a lost 80-year-old Czech man in the mountains of Transcarpathia
In Transcarpathia, in the Mizhhirya region, rescuers found an 80-year-old Czech citizen who got lost in the local mountains.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On August 23, the Rescue Service received a message that while passing a tourist route in the area of Mount Negrovets (the village of Negrovets, Mezhgorsky district), a tourist lost his bearings and got lost. He turned out to be an 80-year-old citizen of the Czech Republic, a resident of the city of Brno,” the message says.
According to the leader of the group, who informed the rescuers about the incident, the lost man decided to rest and told other tourists that he would catch up with them later. However, when after some time the leader of the tourist group did not appear and called 101.
“The mountain search and rescue department of the town of Mezhgorye, consisting of 4 rescuers and 1 piece of equipment, was sent to search for the lost person. At 12:35, rescuers found a man in the area of the Brabilets tract, near the village. Kolochava and took him to the village. Synevir. The tourist’s health condition is satisfactory, so no medical assistance was provided,” the message added.
