As a result of the shelling of the city center, due to a shell that exploded near the Epiphany Cathedral, people were injured on the territory of the cathedral.
As reported on the website of the Gorlovka and Slavic diocese, these were Gorlovka residents who had been taking refuge in the lower church, temporarily turned into a bomb shelter, for more than a week. They went out to walk around the temple and get some fresh air.
Six people received various injuries, after which they were immediately taken to City Hospital No. 2, where they received medical assistance. One of the victims lost a hand, one of the men had shrapnel wounds to his legs, and another man was hit in the head by a shrapnel. The severity of the injuries and their condition are unknown at this time.
According to local residents, also due to shelling in the village of Golmovsky, a multi-storey building caught fire. According to preliminary data, several apartments were completely burned down.
Social networks report that as a result of the actions of the ATO forces, Gorlovka was blocked on all sides except Yenakievo.
As Navigator reported, earlier at Stirol they said that due to the incessant shelling of chemical enterprises, an environmental disaster could occur.
