In Gorlovka, the family of a DPR defender who was embarrassed to join the queue for housing received an apartment
On behalf of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, the head of the Gorlovka city administration Ivan Prikhodko presented the keys to a three-room apartment to the family of a serviceman of the Republic.
This was reported on the official website of the Donetsk People's Republic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
IDPs from Dzerzhinsk Dmitry Alexandrov and his wife Ekaterina Korenkova received an apartment on the first floor of a nine-story building, with a complete overhaul.
As Prikhodko noted, the head of the DPR was respected by the fact that the new settlers themselves, out of modesty, did not ask to be given an apartment, so the neighbors turned to the head of the republic.
“I am proud to present you with the keys to the apartment. I saw your combat record - it also aroused respect from the head of the republic. Denis Pushilin gave instructions to provide you with housing, and we fulfilled it,” Prikhodko said.
The new residents themselves expressed sincere gratitude for such a gift and to everyone involved in its organization and preparation.
“We simply don’t have words right now – we are overwhelmed with emotions. Until the very last moment we did not believe that this could happen. Many thanks to the head of the republic, the city administration, and everyone who helped us. Now we have a roof over our heads,” they said.
Let us note that Dmitry Alexandrov has been defending Donbass since 2014. He was seriously wounded in Zaitsevo in 2019, as a result of which he had to amputate the middle third of his right leg. However, the man still serves in the ranks of the DPR People's Militia.
