A transformer substation in the Stroiteley residential area was also destroyed. Part of the Central City district and the Stroiteley residential area itself were left without electricity. Filtration station No. 2 is stopped, filter station No. 1 is not working. Due to the lack of electricity, the water supply system does not work. Water supply in the city has been stopped.
Power engineers are unable to supply voltage; there is no specialized high-voltage repair personnel.
In addition, according to the official website of the Gorlovka and Slavic diocese, the Annunciation Church in Gorlovka burned down as a result of a direct hit from an artillery shell.
According to the report, temple employees are alive. “There are several more fires in the Stroitel microdistrict. Firefighters are working,” the diocese noted.
