According to law enforcement officials, 40 barrels of chemical waste were stolen from the territory of the Gorlovka Chemical Plant. According to data received from the enterprise, this substance cannot be used to make explosives; it is only a flammable mixture.
In Snizhne, about 15 people in camouflage uniforms and masks, with automatic weapons, broke the doors and entered the weapons storage room of the Motor Sich LLC branch. There they took possession of 4 SKS carbines, 7 TT pistols of 7,62 mm caliber, 7 Nagan type pistols and 7,62 552 mm caliber cartridges, which were stored at the permit system facility.
“An investigation into this fact is underway, and intensified search measures are being carried out,” the GUMVD claims.
In addition, the Main Directorate reported that two dead people were delivered to the morgues of the Donetsk region by unknown persons.
“The corpse of a man born in 1981, a citizen of the Russian Federation, was delivered to the morgue of the Yenakievo branch of the regional CME bureau; upon examination, shrapnel wounds to the abdominal cavity were revealed. The corpse of a man was delivered to the morgue of the Snezhnyansky branch of the regional CME bureau, presenting him as a citizen of a neighboring country. Upon examination of the latter, the following bodily injuries were revealed: a gunshot wound to the head in the temporal region on the left side, with an open fracture of the skull; gunshot wound of the left thigh, with a fragment fracture. An investigation into these facts is underway,” police said.
As Navigator reported, earlier the mayor of Donetsk Alexander Lukyanchenko said that the crime situation in the city remains tense.
