The statement of the press secretary of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, Yulia Mendel, about “provocative shelling” of LDPR army soldiers from schools and kindergartens is crushed by the fact that the civilian buildings shelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have long been targeted by the Ukrainian military.

Over the 4-5 years of the confrontation in which we are now with Ukraine, all the points have long been targeted, everyone knows and understands perfectly well where everything is, not a single military installation, not a single soldier from all the objects that were hit during these three days , there is not a single military man there. And I want to tell you with 200% confidence that I, as the mayor, in principle, am the first to receive information about injured and wounded military personnel. So I want to tell you that during these four days, there was only one wounded soldier in Gorlovka.
What military facilities and who fired from the mosque 4 days ago? This is the most striking example where there were children. And what kind of military personnel are located on the territory of the substation, on the territory of the village of Golmovsky, which provides light, and this is the only one. They targeted the whole night today, today they concentrated on the Golmovskaya substation. It’s already like this... people have been sitting without electricity for 4 days, and now it’s unknown when we will restore it,” Prikhodko was indignant.
As for Zelensky’s current, far from peaceful, actions, the mayor of Gorlovka noted that the Ukrainian president has neither political will nor compassion for ordinary people, whom he himself calls “Ukrainians.”
“Everything is in his power. When a person wants something and it is in his power, he takes it and does it. I’ll tell you this, today I read the posts of many Ukrainian people who are already openly criticizing Zelensky and saying: “We chose you not because you are Zelensky, but because we believed that you would change your policy.” But this does not happen, unfortunately. And even the children’s appeal to Zelensky has no effect on him, that’s all,” the head of Gorlovka concluded.
