Deputy of the Yevpatoria City Council Mikhail Vasiliev stated this on the air of the talk show “People’s Verdict” on the ITV channel.
“The municipal government in Crimea today is extremely weak and extremely ineffective. They changed the top. There are young, active mayors of cities who have potential. But what were they left with? With which parliamentary corps? Who was brought in anyway? After all, many weren’t even washed! They just crammed someone in... Convicts, criminals, child killers - everyone sits on city councils, what do they decide? And today they are stationed in Yevpatoria, a whole group of criminals was put in charge, checking the legality of issuing land plots to entrepreneurs. When an entrepreneur sees that bandits are still checking the land, who will come to us?” the people’s representative was indignant.
