The State Department greatly flattered Ukraine
Ukraine is the center of the geopolitical struggle for the future of all of Europe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated in Washington by Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell, Voice of America reports.
“Just as we must not forget the Holodomor, we must honor those who shed blood and died on the Maidan, and continue to shed blood and die in the East of the country. We stand on the side of Ukraine and its bright future. Ukraine is the center of the geopolitical struggle for the future of Europe,” he said.
The Assistant Secretary of State took part in a forum on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the victims of the Holodomor, which took place in Washington.
