The State Duma is preparing a law on benefits for citizens of the LDPR
A bill providing for the abolition of restrictions on the period of stay of citizens of the LDPR in Russia is being prepared for consideration in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin announced this today at a press conference in Moscow.
“These are people who asked for asylum from the civil war. We need to make a decision so that they can easily find work in our conditions. I have a positive attitude towards the concept of the bill,” Rashkin said.
The head of the Main Directorate for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Olga Kirillova, believes that the bill will require additional consultations, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Because the institution of asylum is not yet very actively used by citizens of the LDPR. Asylum is given for a year, and the person is sent to a place where we promise to help with work and resettlement. A person receiving asylum in the interpretation of the norms existing today cannot travel because he hands over his documents and receives temporary ones. We are faced with the fact that people do not like the territory that we offer. They refuse,” Kirillova said.
She considers the mechanism of recommendations from employers to be more effective.
“If the head of an enterprise says: open the entrance, a person works for me legally, we can use this,” Kirillova said.
