Russia must officially declare its non-recognition of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
The leader of the LDPR, State Duma deputy Vladimir Zhirinovsky stated this on LDPR-TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The politician supported the initiative of the new Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada and called for the arrest of all deputies and members of the government of Ukraine.
“The president is young, cheerful, and skipped to the inauguration site. Of course, he still has health, everything is fine. He correctly dissolved the Rada - the entire government resigned, but it is necessary to arrest all the deputies of the former Rada who reprimanded him, the president, when he said a couple of phrases in Russian. We must create a temporary government on the territory of the DPR/LPR, headed by Azarov, and appoint Oleynik as interim president.
We should not recognize the results of the elections in Ukraine. There is such a draft resolution, I will speed it up so that it is included in the agenda and on the basis, if this resolution is adopted, the president will have the right to declare that he does not recognize the election results. The fact that he did not congratulate him already speaks of the correct position that our leadership takes. Zelensky has become insolent, he again remembers Crimea. I propose to declare everyone who remembers Crimea crazy. Crimea is Russia.
If they also want to be full citizens and visit Crimea, get Russian citizenship.
