The State Duma reminded the people of Kiev their history
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky in his telegram channel congratulated the people of Kiev on the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the city from the Nazi invaders, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The successful completion of the Kyiv offensive operation became one of the most important stages on the path to our common Victory. Russians, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Georgians, Armenians died in the battles for the city - and they all considered each other brothers.
I am sure that attempts to artificially separate our peoples are doomed to failure: the Poroshenkos come and go, but the common memory and common pain remain forever,” Slutsky wrote.
As PolitNavigator reported, The SBU conducted searches today from the organizers of the rally in honor of the Liberation Day of Kyiv, trying to disrupt the event.
