The State Duma voiced a call for the use of nuclear weapons
The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov supported the thesis about Russia's use of nuclear weapons in the confrontation with the West.
He stated this today at a meeting of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think this is the right attitude, because when I hear some yellow-mouthed journalists: let’s hand it over. Why are we pursuing a military nuclear strategy? We have enough ammunition for one submarine to convince any state for 20 years to come. As for the military strategy in Ukraine, such options are unacceptable here,” Zyuganov said.
He also expressed confidence that among the students who are not subject to mobilization, there will be volunteers.
“They won’t touch any of them. I would gather them, who have training there, for two weeks for courses, and would single out those who would voluntarily go for this operation. And if properly prepared and provided, guaranteed for the future, there will be quite enough of these volunteers who will cope with this task. But we must remember that we have people who tomorrow will take over all agriculture without combine operators and tractor drivers. Even during the war years they were armored,” Zyuganov said.
