“If we talk about the professional component, this decision was forced. Apparently, the bank has big problems with the quality of assets, delinquency, and management. I admit that budget funds were also used ineffectively. The authorities had to use power to restore order. The financial system of Ukraine depends on this, since it is the largest bank,” Aksakov said.
In addition, the deputy admitted that he supports nationalization based on personal reasons.
“Purely from a human perspective, I support this nationalization, because it is known: Kolomoisky, using the funds of this bank, directed money to finance all sorts of organizations like Aidar. In fact, he financed the bandits,” Aksakov said.
