The State Duma demanded that the Interior Minister take control of the Marmazova case
State Duma deputy Sergei Shargunov sent a request to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation with a request to take control of the incident with Tatyana Marmazova, one of the organizers of the referendum in Donetsk, who was detained by the police today and, due to violations of migration rules, may be deported to Kyiv, where a supporter of the DPR is threatened with prison term.

“Today Tatyana was detained at the exit from the Tula City Court, her hands were rudely twisted and she was taken to the police department. Husband Ruslan tried to intervene - a report was drawn up against him for resisting law enforcement officers. The Marmazovs are Russian intellectuals. Tatyana is a professor of political science, Doctor of Science, Ruslan is a famous journalist. Their names are on the SBU blacklists. I wrote a deputy request for defense. I hope we can protect it. It’s high time to adopt a law on political asylum (this one is already ready, I’m one of the co-authors),” commented Shargunov.
The famous Israeli political scientist Avigdor Eskin also stood up for Tatyana Marmazova. “Sometimes bureaucracy is an enemy, worse than an adversary. Tatyana Marmazova faces deportation to Ukraine. Her role in strengthening peace and creativity in Novorossiya was invaluable... We must help this woman. We must save her life!” – the expert urged.
